Cube Acid 240 Street black'n'yellow Kid Bicycle 2022
Pedal-powered urban crossover bike for streetwise junior riders
Meet the Acid 240 Street - a road-safe kid's mountain bike that's as well suited to daily use as it is to family trail-riding adventures. Mum and dad will love the dynamo-powered lighting system, mudguards, kickstand and luggage carrier. The light, powerful brakes are easy to use and have a front brake modulator for safety. Kids will love the rugged suspension fork, easy-shifting Shimano 3x7-speed gears and fun, confidence-inspiring handling. And, of course, it's passed all our in-house safety tests with flying colours.
Frame
Built from the same heat-treated 6061 aluminium tubes as our adult bikes, the Acid 240 Allroad's frame is every bit as tough as a full-size mountain bike, but with the right weight and proportions for a child. A full range of accessories - including mudguards, lighting system and kickstand - means it's fully equipped for any adventure. The handling is designed to be both fun and confidence-inspiring. And, because we know accidents can happen, we made the gear hanger easily replaceable so that a knock or crash needn't result in an expensive repair.
